From a History of poverty to a future of sustainable prosperity

At the Sola Roof Community we are ready to take on this challenge by going forward with a technology approach that is based on life science and systems for controlled ecological life support that are integrated with our buildings. Our homes and communities will be designed for sustainable living and support growth that is kind to the environment.

Innovations and advanced materials and design provide a way forward. Technical elegance and simplicity is needed to increase efficiency and do more with less materials and resources. Our goal is also to exploit effectively ambient energy and resources hat have not previously been fully utilized. The SolaRoof (www.solaroof.org) goal is to create habitat that would be capable of harvesting and converting solar energy resources using the power of living plants and algae. The building itself becomes a living system that nests within the planetary ecology. Its functions are not designed only for zero environmental impact but to generate net energy above the embodied and consumed energy, positive environmental benefits, production of distributed wealth and creating well being, health and comfort. These systems should also be universally effective in hot and cold climates, arid deserts and tropical rain forests.

The human spirit has a tremendous power that I have already see and when we work together in a spirit of collaboration we can release the energy and knowledge that will teach us what we need to know about sustainable living. But for this to happen in an effective way multiple channels are needed. In fact a multitude of channels are required - each person with their special gifts and talents - and these notes must be harmonized in a unity we will find in diversity. Then we will create the beautiful music that will attract or awaken, disturb or inspire - what ever the effect on each individual - it will be obvious to all that this new song is from God.

Terrorism is a symbol of hopelessness and reflects a desperate state of mind. Many steps are needed to end this symptom of injustice – but, confidence in a brighter and prosperous future for everyone is a remedy that will help. Thus our “HyperNatural” solutions for self reliant and abundant living will remove root causes of conflict and eliminate the fear of future scarcity and conflict over depleted (non renewable) resources. I hope that these thoughts will strike a chord with the reader and that you can resonate with this message. As a result our actions will be manifest in the physical plane - so we will speak of technology, methods and systems - yet we intend to manifest a spiritual solution to the urgent problems and crises that are growing daily and which endanger the most helpless. Our spiritual obligation is to act, not in our own self interest, but to help and protect "the least" of these among us.

Greetings from London where we will rise above the tragedy and truma of terrorism and work on EcoLiving solutions - SolaRoofGuy

SolaRoofWiki is up and running

Hello friends! At the SolaRoof Wiki we are building a knowledge base for sustainable living. This is all about transparent solar structures for solar greenhouses, garden homes and eco villages. Our methods are free for personal use and OpenSource for non-exclusive Creative Commons Public License for commercial use. We support GrassRoots initiatives and our construction methods have a modular, DIY approach so that they are accessible, affordable and adaptable. Our BubbleTech and Liquid Solar desgns create a breakthrough in energy savings and create climate controlled, comfortable environments within the structures. Cool, natural daylight maximizes plant productivity to provide food, water and energy resources on a sustainable basis. Our goal is to transform buildings into "living structures" for ecological and self reliant living.
